WHAT EXHIBITORS NEED TO KNOW

October 16 – 18, 2016 at the Ontario Science Centre

    • Immersed will feature separate exhibitions for business to business and business to consumer in different parts of the Ontario Science Centre.
    • Immersed 2016 public exhibit estimated to have over 8,000 visitors over three days.  Up t0 20,000 square feet in size!
    • Exhibits will be preconfigured in compartmentalized spaces up to 30 X 15 feet without extra setup fees.
    • Ample electricity and pre-arranged light-blocking rods and curtains will be set up for fast and easy exhibit building.  Just bring your computers, your devices, and your signage!  We are prepared for sitting and walking VR experiences.
    • Top level national and international media are scheduled to participate.
    • Immersed is designed to be affordable.  Marketers wishing to showcase in both exhibits get a 50% discount against the same or lower valued space (some restrictions apply).
    • Reach thousands of future VR/AR consumers above and beyond the enthusiast space.
    • Public and industry events will be simultaneous and separate to maximize qualified reach.

The Immersed Experience

As the industry has grown, so have the number of conferences and events.  Immersed remains useful and influential by creating an informative event for professionals to attend in underserved yet valuable territories, and opening new doors to opportunities that are regularly missed. Our mantra is we don’t just talk about the future, we help build it.

This year, Immersed will have two simultaneous exhibitions.  The first is our professional exhibit targeted to fellow content makers, technology makers, academics, investors, and media. Over the course of three days, delegates will learn from and network with top level speakers and colleagues in this networking space.  This is also where most of the meals and breaks will be served.

The second exhibit is designed to effectively reach thousands of potential new customers like teachers, high school students, parents, teenagers, and experience-hungry adults. Combined with participating national and international media, the influence grows even further.

The Immersed 2016 public venue will be adequately spaced for seated and walking VR / AR / 3D experiences and will be preconfigured with compartmentalized 15′ X 15′ spaces where needed with ample electricity for all. We want setup to be as simple as exhibitors bringing their computers, their devices, their signage, and being good to go.

We want visitors to see experiences – not lineups.  The more consumers see, the more they have to be excited about – and we want them to be excited.  Attending the exhibit is free to enter for all Ontario Science Centre ticket holders and members.

Outside the public exhibition, we will have a custom stage for educational sessions. This is the Ontario Science Centre, and we want their 3,000 to 5,000 daily visitors to be excited about the technology and the science that goes in to immersive technologies such as virtual and augmented reality. All marketing channels will be in full force to promote this initiative.

Special Program For Start-ups and Independent Content Makers

We recognize that some of the most ground breaking technologies and innovative immersive content is being developed by early start-ups and small independent content creators.  We also recognize that it’s difficult to effectively network and exhibit at other leading events because of budgetary constraints.  Factor in travel expenses and the increasing costs of requiring more floor space to show their work (e.g. a 12′ X 12′ floor for a walking VR experience instead of a tabletop), it’s growing harder and harder to stand out in the crowd.

Immersed 2016 is run by the non-profit Immersive Technology Alliance.  We want everyone’s work to be experienced, and we want them to be able to show it affordably.

These options are designed for pre-revenue and pre-investment start-up companies. Each of these options include at least one full access conference ticket.  One additional ticket for a direct employee can be purchased for $100 USD.

The following Immersed Start-up Table and VR Walking Space options do NOT qualify for a second exhibit at a further discounted rate, though additional exhibits can be purchased at the start-up rate listed.

Independent consumer-facing products and content (e.g. video games, 360 experiences, etc.) will be prioritized to the high traffic public exhibition unless a second exhibit is purchased.
